Axe on Wax Records was launched in London by Fede Lng in 2014 created to release quality underground house music with an analog / lo-fi touch from emerging and breakthrough DJs. 

Axe on Wax remains committed to pressing vinyl for every release setting it apart from other labels and remaining authentic and aligned with the heritage and roots of dance music culture.

Fede Lng launched a program of parties alongside the creation of the label securing spots with big name venues in London, Berlin and New York with line-ups including stand-out DJ’s from across the globe.

Axe on Wax collaborated with cult Korean music and streetwear brand The Internatiiional in 2019 on a t-shirt capsule taking the first steps towards what would later become the label’s first full self-initiated apparel collection. 

For 2020, Axe on Wax are launching their first fashion capsule collaborating with up-and-coming graphic artists Its Muchos and Germany Studio Matterof.Online. In keeping with the commitment to pressed vinyl the Axe on Wax Record Bag will remain a cornerstone of the brand’s offering, firmly grouding apparel releases within the labels cultural home in electronic music. 

Alongside managing and directing Axe on Wax records, Italian-born Fede Lng has continued to make waves with his own groovy lo-fi edits and original tracks, collaborating with break-out artists prior to them being picked-up by international labels including Yaeji, Chaos in the CBD and Mall Grab. His passion for non-commercial radio has seen him play at some of the scene’s leading underground stations including NTS, The Lot, Red Light and Berlin Community Radio.
